 During a secret voting, by the decision of the jury, the winner of the maths and photo competition in the Spain category was the photo by the pupil Antia Sánchez.

The headmaster of the Escola Torre Barona school gave the award and diploma to the winner.

"Mathematics in the lens" - maths and photo competition, Portugal category

During a secret voting, by the decision of the jury, the winner of the maths and photo competition in the Portugal category was the photo by the pupil Diogo Matos. 

The headmaster of the Agrupamento de Escolas de Pedome school gave the award and diploma to the winner.

Pi Number - the second videoconference

The second videoconference was on May10th 2022. During the online meeting the pupils made experiments thanks to which they got to know the Pi Number better.
Pupils measured the perimeter and diameter of round objects and divide the results to obtain the Pi Number.
All the obtained results gave the correct approximation of Pi Number, with less, more or even perfect accuracy. The pupils learnt the Pi Number, read its successive digits from the infinite expansion. They learnt the uses of Pi Number too.

The online meeting was also an opportunity for project participants to meet again. This meeting was accompanied by a lot of positive emotions and joy.
