In Centro Ciencia Viva, located in an old tannery in Guimaraes, , the participants of the exchange developed their skills in the fields of robotics, mathematics, traditional navigation and learnt about technological process of recycling. During the tour and the Palace of Paço dos Duques de Bragança in Guimaraes, they got to know fascinating history, customs and traditions of medieval Portugal. Under the watchful eye of King Alfonso Henry I of Portugal, the pupils had the secrets of Pi taped.
